All business entities either formed or registered to do business in Idaho, must file an annual report each year.

The Idaho annual reports are due every year, on the last day of the month that you initially filed in.

You will receive a post card in the mail at the business mailing address.  One of the reasons, clients hire us as their registered agent, is to list our address for mailing, so you don’t have to worry about missing the post card.  We also send you automated annual report reminders.

Upon receipt of the post card, you will see your entity number and a pin used to file online here:

 http://www.sos.idaho.gov/online/corpar/login.jsp

If you did not get your post card, you can call the Idaho Secretary of State, and request your pin at:
208-334-2301.

You’ll need your file number, and it’s a good idea to look yourself up first at: http://www.accessidaho.org/public/sos/corp/search.html?ScriptForm.startstep=crit
To make sure you’ve giving the State the correct business name, so you’ll get the correct pin number used to file your annual report.

You have 60 days past your report due date to file, or you will be administratively dissolved or if you are an out of state business, you will lose your ability to work in the state.

The report does not cost anything.  Failure to file it costs 30.00 for domestic entities and you have to start over if you’re a foreign entity and pay the initial filing fee again.

Idaho LLCs, Idaho Corporations, and any Idaho business entity must file the Idaho Secretary of State annual report.
